How the Calculation Works
The love score is derived from a character‑based algorithm. It counts the total letters in both names, then calculates the ratio of unique shared letters. The formula is:
Love % = (unique common letters / total unique letters) × 100 + 15% spark bonus
A base compatibility is then adjusted with a subtle “spark” factor to make each result feel magical. The final percentage is capped at 100% and never goes below 20% to keep the experience uplifting.
