Choose Your Area Shape
Select how you want to define the area: Total Area (direct input), Rectangle (length × width), or Circle (diameter).

Enter Area Dimensions
Input your measurements and select the correct unit (feet, meters, inches, etc.). The calculator will automatically convert everything to the standard unit.
💡 Example: Enter "20" feet for length and "15" feet for width.

Set Gravel Depth
Enter how deep you want the gravel layer. Common depths are 2-4 inches for pathways or 4-6 inches for driveways.
💡 Example: Enter "3" and select "inches" for a 3-inch deep layer.

Select Gravel Density
Choose from common material types or select "Use your own density" for custom values. The default gravel density is 1600 kg/m³.
💡 Example: For regular gravel, leave it as "Gravel (0.2-2" / 0.5-5 cm)".

Add Price (Optional)
If you know the cost of gravel, enter the price and select the unit (per cubic foot, per bag, etc.). The calculator will show the total cost.
💡 Example: Enter "$50" and select "per cubic yard" to calculate cost.

Press the Calculate button to see instant results. The results show volume in multiple units (ft³, yd³, m³, L) and weight in multiple units (lbs, tons, kg, metric tons).
💡 Example: With area 200 sq ft and depth 3 inches, you'll get ~50 ft³ volume and ~5,244 lbs weight.
