How UAF CGPA Calculation Works
UAF follows the HEC Pakistan-standardised 4.0 grading framework. Every course grade is converted into "Quality Points" based on credit hours, and CGPA is the ratio of total quality points to total credit hours attempted.
The Formula
Quality Points (QP) = Grade Points × Credit Hours
CGPA = Total Quality Points ÷ Total Credit Hours
Example: If you score an A (4.00) in a 3-credit-hour course, your Quality Points = 4.00 × 3 = 12. Do this for every course, add them all up, then divide by the total credit hours across all courses to get your GPA/CGPA.
